I am waiting now

For what I am not sure

I am frozen in a sense of fear

Not really feeling anything though

What is it I am waiting for

Is it a thing

A person

Some event

A shock of some kind

What is it going to take

To break the spell

To awaken me to my life

Am I really waiting

Or

Am I just refusing to choose
